Breast Reduction
Breast reduction is now being performed using the True Tumescent Liposuction technique.
This technique is a wonderful alternative to traditional excisional breast
reduction. Only local anesthesia is used during the True Tumescent technique
which allows for very tiny incisions less than 4 mm that are placed in the
outer and lower breast area and virtually disappear. This is in contrast to
the large anchor-shaped incision required for traditional breast reduction.
The procedure is comfortable and recovery is typically 1 to 2 days with
minimal soreness and no pain.

How Does it Work?
During the procedure, the weight of each breast decreases in proportion to
the amount of fat removed. Thus, the breasts are naturally lifted as a
direct result of de-weighting the breasts. Unlike traditional excisional
reduction, there is minimal trauma to actual breast tissue during the
procedure, therefore, not interfering with future breast feeding or loss of
nipple sensitivity.
